Romero Britto, a Brazilian Artist living in Miami and founder of the Happy Movement, embarked on his artistic path as self-educated, standing beside the street artists and then specialized discovering the great artist’s masterpieces displayed in Paris.
His success is unbelievable: he displayed his art in galleries and museums in more than 100 countries and contributed uncountable public installations. The most famous one is his sculpture in Hyde Park – London. Thanks to his fame and appreciation from the people, he has been nominated as the official artist of the “Fútbol” World Championship in 2010 and ambassador for the FIFA World Cup in 2014 in Brazil.
The style of Romero Britto Art is inspired by Roy Lichtenstein and Keith Haring for the use of bold black lines and quoting the New York Times: “exudes warmth, optimism and love”.
The Artist finds the beauty in the simplest aspects in life and shows it with irony and empathy. His artworks are unmistakable and excite in the very instant you look at them.
Britto once said: “Art is too important not to share”. For this reason, he is supporting and has been supporting during those years more than 200 charity organizations.
